These are some of the Lincolnshire Stories I tell. For instance, there is an introduction to my family name. Then there is a true story about Jabez, my great-grandad. Jabez went courting one winter’s day. Also a story about a dragon that caused devastation around Walmsgate. The Buried Moon comes from the time when the fens were not drained. Later, the fens, marshes and the carrs were drained with the help of Dutch engineers.
